he Estate Planning and Administration
Practice Group is co-managed by Mark B. Weinberg and Ronald D. Jacobs.
Formulation of an estate plan is a uniquely personal experience in which the
client actively participates, while a knowledgeable and experienced attorney
provides guidance and legal substance. During an initial interview, our lawyers
explore the full range of questions which are important to consider: How can you best
provide for your family and other responsibilities in the event of your
disability or death? How can you assure care for disabled dependents? How can
financial drains on the estate, such as death taxes, be minimized? Who should
administer your estate, care for your children, or manage funds for the future?

We have helped many people resolve these questions constructively, thoughtfully
and cost effectively. Each attorney in the firm is experienced in drafting
wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills, discretionary trusts and other
estate planning documents. The senior partners of the firm personally
participate, either directly or through case review, in the formulation of the
plans these documents will implement.

We also serve as counsel to the estates of the deceased, guiding their families
through both routine and complex questions about probate, liquidation or
transfer of estate assets. We accept as much or as little of the burden as our
clients request or require, thereby meeting their needs at a cost level
consistent with their financial and service requirements.
