Ronald D. Jacobs is partner in the firm of Weinberg, Jacobs & Tolani, LLP and has been practicing law for over twenty-five years.
He began his career as an attorney with the Regional Counsel’s office of the Internal Revenue Service in New York. Since leaving the IRS, he has concentrated on representing corporate, professional, and individual clients, in business tax, estate planning, and real property transactions. His expertise and experience include: contract and lease negotiations; establishment and qualification of corporations and partnership, both general and limited; purchases and sales of business and real property, negotiation and litigation of commercial disputes; and estate planning and administration.
He has represented collection agencies located throughout the country during his practice. He has extensive experience in state licensing and regulatory compliance of collection agencies, and the applicability of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and comparable state statutes and regulations, to such agencies.
Ronald graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law and holds an L.L.M. degree in taxation from George Washington University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Virginia.
